     @jewishreader I haven't read all the way through, but the part I've read in the last 10 minutes really *really* identifies why I don't call myself a leftist, even though I agree with leftists on policy a vast majority of the time.

     @kingrat That is the first third, for darn sure. I almost didn't make it past that. But the rest I found fairly redemptive, as someone who also very deliberately does not call herself a leftist. I use 'progressive.'
