@Blouie This shit is just fucking gay, imagine letting some dumb 8 year old booger-eater mulatto decide what's going in your game. Democracy doesn't work!!

@WandererUber That vote for the glow squid was influenced by a huge youtuber too

@WandererUber Also the mobs that lose these votes have never ever made it into the game so we'll probably never see that

@Blouie I think it would have been cool if they DID actually mix the two. Imagine if the golems could actually be programmed with redstone or something, to do stuff.
Brainlets at mojang could never.

@WandererUber There was going to be a copper golem that could power pressure plates and press buttons or whatever but the players voted for a glowing squid or something retarded like that instead

@WandererUber Mojang after Notch just started adding usless shit that you'll never even interact with in each update, it all just serves to bloat the game and make it more annoying to play. Also I hate playing with mods like that because it ruins the original spirit of the game.

@Blouie I feel like thinks like enchanting and stuff ruined what I wanted out of the "original spirit" way more. I started playing when you couldn't attack enemies in multiplayer though. And then he added pistons and redstone. I thought it was going in the full technology direction, but then they kinda pivoted to magic and stuff. Not that that's bad, but for me, building big ass technical production lines was always the cool part. And a lot of people do this in vanilla, to an extreme degree even. Just look at all the mob and block farms they build. That is cool and all but it feels way more against "the original spirit" to abuse some weird glitchy mechanic instead of just having a mod for a machine that can harvest for you...
It's definitely a way different experience and I get why it's not for everyone.

@WandererUber I dunno I feel like Minecraft was always supposed to be this weird mix of fantasy and technological stuff.

@WandererUber These bundles were in development for like 5 years and they're still shit

@Blouie The fact that I'm hearing about post-notch Mojang getting ANYTHING good done at all is surprising to me. I felt like everything since then just sucked. But I haven't touched vanilla in a long time. Usually, I play some crackhead technology and magic modpack with like 2000 files and just build a fusion reactor :peepoShrug:
