@ergo @sim Currently living among the Euro-descended normies and I can say that the sooner I get back to some shitty Chinatown, the better. A Japantown is fine, too. Would not live in a Korean enclave; will not elaborate.
As far as their social outlook, I think Confucianism did a number on the continent. I can't account for why people *here* are shitty, but I write it off as most people just being shitty.

@p @ergo @sim I haven't lived in a Chinatown but I try to stay in them when I visit major cities. I definitely agree. They mind their own business.
Having lived in majority black and Mexican neighborhoods though, I'll go live in redneck hillbilly cracker trailer park before going back to that. At least I'd be able to get sleep.

@p @ergo @sim they come in flavors. Some are true neighborhoods with actual houses of Mexicans who have mostly been here for a while and those can b p decent. Some are tenements where the government stuffs a thousand Mexicans and Guatemalans or salvadoreans or whatever else they can find without papers 8 to a unit to put on rent assistance to drink Modelo on their stoop and play shitty corridos way too loud at 1 am on a wednesday

Ain't nobody wanna live next to such a place. I don't care who got stuffed there: living next to the sort of person that gets stuffed somewhere by a government tends to be a bad experience. Even college dorms.

@p @Paultron @ergo @sim If there are youths, they tend to play music very loudly at all hours.

@Simpadoo @Paultron @ergo @sim I'm old and I do that shit. (This is why I need to go somewhere that is either way more or way less densely populated.)
