   I have no illusions about the beneficence of OpenAI, but I think in a decade or two to come, we'll be thankful that the coup against the nonprofit parent org failed.

   Thinking this after hearing a friend describe all the daily medical/nutritional/etc. data he feeds into ChatGPT. I still would not recommend doing that FWIW.

     @ntnsndr why? Is it because you think it would have led to openAI being shut down and the world will be better off with it?

     @arod @ntnsndr Because I suspect there will be a few decisions that turn out to have big long-tail effects that will be made differently for fear of the nonprofit's wrath.
