      @farbenstau @davidaugust I was training a 24 year old at work. It took him two weeks to admit he didn’t follow my directions because he didn’t know what “clockwise” meant. When I told him “the direction the hands go on a clock” he told me he never noticed they all go the same way. No, he could not tell time with a “arm clock”.

      @davidaugust Pet peeve: I dislike calling directions of rotation "right" and "left". It doesn't mean anything, unless you assume it refers to a specific section of the rotating thing. But why should it? Why is it relevant to look at specifically the upper part of a rotating screw head and see whether it moves right or left?

      The correct terms are clockwise and counter-clockwise.
