   @Leyonhjelm @adiz Well, sure, if you're just talking building it. It's a lot to build and maintain and then local governments will fuck with your big project. I just don't think it's happening unless the feds give up the land and people screw a lot more than they have been.

     America doesn’t want rail because America is late to the party. America hates anything where America isn’t the tip of the spear. Major high speed rail isn’t coming soon in any real sense stateside.
