     @aral disgusted and disheartened that so many people apparently think genocide of brown people is fine.

     This is European supremacy and imperialism at its worst. We’ve decided that some groups of people can be killed without batting an eyelid. Usually brown or Muslim people in “third world countries”. But let’s not ask ourselves how our exploiting them for centuries have adversely affected them. Easier to just think of them as “bad”.

     @aral Yeah, I didn't watch any of Eurovision this year. Once I knew baby killers were still allowed to take part, all interest was gone.

     @aral If I look at it from a distance, my analysis is that in the world we now live in, it has become impossible to be a-political as even that has itself become political.

     For those who gain from a polarized world, not having an opinion is not option any more you are allowed to have.

     Even more, there are powers in this world who would have absolutely no issue the #esc goes down because of this as. Do let's all be careful as we could end up doing exactly what they want us to do!
