     @prettygood i've had way too many issues trying to pay my rent through online portals and whatnot so i always hand deliver a check so i know they get it on time and they'll stop threatening to evict me.

     @earthling where I live there's no cell coverage (functionally) so any time I have people come to the house to do work I have to pay with a check.

     @fluffy I paid rent with checks until I left my last rented place. I always rented from humans and not corporations though.
