Fast approaching two months without a job.
I've had one interview, and they never got back to me to tell me anything.

@mistersql That’s useful. Thank you.
@mattl That resume is for someone who already knows you. The first line people reviewing resumes need to be able to instantly peg you as some job title that they're hiring for. Good luck, it is rough out there (compared to 2 years ago)
@womp How would that work on a mobile website?
@mattl Some more unsolicited advice 😅 As someone that regularly reviews 100+ resumes a day, having to download, find and open your file if I'm on mobile is a BIG friction point.
If I can't immediately scan and get a good sense of your relevancy to my openings, it's unlikely I'll pigeonhole you into the "potential reach out" bin.
@womp I don’t submit the site when I apply to the job. It’s just an easy to remember micro site to share on social media. People have used it to help get my resume to someone else in their company.
@mattl how would what work?
Right now your site doesn't have any summary of what you've worked on, who you worked for or what technologies you have experience with or are looking to work on. Unfortunately I can't match a specific job description to "worked on the web and open source for 25 years".
@womp I’m confused. The site has all that information in a PDF. Why would someone be on this single page website but unable to find that information?
