   That moment where the PC says 100% done with the updates and it keeps saying that for a longer period than the updates had lasted 😂 the joys of having a PC I guess... Hopefully I'll be able to use the PC in a bit... I do wanna work on my blog some, and maybe create some more alt text for older snaps on my Flickr.... 🤔

     @PixysJourney Sounds like Windows. It tries to be helpful by giving us the 100% complete message, even though it's nowhere near done.

     I tried the turn it off, wait a bit, turn it on again and... I couldn't fool it... It went back to the 100% completion, please wait...
     I hate this....

     Guess I need to change the settings to "ask permission for updates", so it can do that stuff when I don't actually want to use it... 🤔 If it ever let's me log on...

     @PixysJourney This has happened to me before. Yeah, some people had success by leaving it as long as overnight, and eventually it finished. Others had to boot using an installation disk and make changes. If this update upgrades Windows from Windows 10 to Windows 11, there are necessary BIOS changes to make. Otherwise, the first thing to try is what you are doing - waiting.

     And then it gets technical, but recoverable. I usually have to refer to pages on the net if it gets to that point.

     Indeed it is....... I had not turned off the automatic updates yet... And now, it's been stuck on the update screen for half an hour...
     So I just ride the hometrainer now, to do something useful 😂
