   Speaking of tacos, my favorite tacos in the Monterey area are:

   Downtown: Lopez liquor store. All the tacos inside are great. Get some and go to the beach.

   Near the aquarium: El Cantaro, a vegan taqueria. Spectacular. Everything is good. Speaking as a not vegan.

   In Seaside: Seafood tacos at Barba Azul, with a rice plate. What I get when I’ve had a stressful day at work. With the cucumber agua fresca.

   In Salinas: Tacos Pacheco

     @skinnylatte if you havent tried them and like carnitas, Trejo's in Watsonville is the best specifically for carnitas. they no longer do dine in so you can bring a cooler and order like a pound, a dozen hand made tortillas, their salsa and like some pickled jalapenos and take it down to the beach nearby

     My favorite tacos in San Francisco are:

     - El Gallo Giro (everything is good)
     - Tacos del Barrio (get the black al pastor, and carnitas. Fish tacos are excellent also)
     - La Gallinita (get a crispy chicharron taco.. or suadero. it’s amazing)
     - Tacos el Charro has a trompo on the street and the most ‘Mexico city’ vibe

     All in the Mission.

     In the Castro, I usually go to Tacos El Tucan. I loved them in the east bay but my main complaint about their Castro store is they seem to be toning down the spice and grease for the Castro crowd.

     LA taco truck institution Leo’s is opening / has opened? Near ocean beach. It’s my LA fave but I haven’t checked out their SF one

     My favorite tacos in Oakland:

     By a long shot, La Parilla Loca is my favorite taco truck in the entire Bay Area

     I’ve also eaten all the tacos in Fruitvale and will need to write a blog post about this. Too many to list. They are all great.

     @skinnylatte oh oh my favorite tacos are from the pre-hispanic taco truck, it usually comes down to morgan hill on sundays to kelly brewing which is probably my favorite brewery so its just a dream combo. I love tacos I could talk all day about them
