2FA caught it both times.
As annoying as 2FA can be, it's essential.

@FlashMobOfOne I've had the opposite experience, which is to say I've been permanently locked out of an email & former Amazon account because they demanded I use my "other" method, just to login & I don't keep that other updated by their schedule. Maybe if they'd allow the "other" to be something other than a phone number, it wouldn't be such a problem but between the phone number & the still frequent push of captchas. I find #2FA to be nothing better than an annoyance set, generally worse. #Technology
