     Source: Haven't been able to update my conduit instance for years now because compile errors on my system
     Also the instance runs like shit.
     
     The best part is that, as far as I understand, it's still better than synapse.

     @meso @Zergling_man everyone talks shit about synapse but I'm running two instances that use less than 80MB of memory combined and their postgres foot print is miniscule. I have no clue where this opinion comes from. Someone is parroting reddit posts I think and it just spread from there.
     
     You won't find a bigger python hater than me but when the rubber meets the road, *it actually works properly* and I can join rooms that were created some time after 2019, unlike conduit.
