   I'm a little out of sorts with a sick kitty currently in hospital, but I've just remembered there's a deadline tonight for this prompt.

   I've only had three or four submissions, the popularity of these seems to have died off so this will probably be the last one I do in this style.

     He had a slight fever and labored breathing, likely a respiratory inflammation from pollen or from his baby brother or both. The protracted loss of appetite is the most worrisome for both me and his vet at the moment but is probably because he's a pampered fucking princeling and is more than a little peeved at the indignity of his current situation. 😤

     @Doll Oh the poor boy. if the vet is confident that the meds are doing the trick and seeing improvement then get him home as your care will be superior. I really hope that this hasn't cost you the earth.
     
     You can mock him over his sphinx cat leg when he's stronger.

     The vet was pretty certain he'll get to come home in the morning, and she's going to syringe some chicken baby food into his surly face today along with another course of meds in his IV. He's going to have a little shaved chicken leg, poor boy. THE INDIGNITY. 😤

     Yep! Here's hoping it goes well and I don't discover I have a new allergy I didn't know about!
     It's also a smaller group of employees, which I prefer.
     It's weird that I'll be reporting to someone younger than me, that's going to take getting used to. :shroomwiggle:
