@Hoss I think there's a chance that some possibly prestigious schools/ones that want to bolster their legitimacy in the future revert technologically and start requiring essays to be hand written and/or with a proctor as a proof that the student knows the information.

A positive development that could come out of this is more productive schoolwork in the classroom and less farmed out to the realm of homework.

Children should have never been handed homework in the first place.
How do you make learning not happen in the eight hours children are forced to put up with your crap,
to the point that you need the students to teach themselves?
Teaching is a racket, is rapidly showing itself to be entirely obsolete, and quite frankly needs to be ceded to A.I.

Also, homework makes patents further servants of the state.

Sure, with technological development we've been given to some wayward proclivities that are completely degenerate, but the rise of A.I. is exactly like the rise of something like say, COVID.
Its prominence shows us where our focus is and shouldn't be, where the societal holes are, and how we can fix them.
Just like COVID revealed the vulnerability of the supply chain and all else, A.I. revealed to us that a lot of people are just friggin' useless and should no longer be doing their useless job that they're paid to do, hardly put any effort into anyway, and generally just suck up space and time.

@SincereIrony @Hoss I already have family in academia that are just weighing the exams more heavily and forcing the students to write them by hand lol

@Hoss Teaching is long overdue a purge. 3 completely useless stooges for every 2 competent ones. I say this working in the field.
