     And it was just horrible, mirage in fact was the worst by far.

     @stefan @mikoto I've used matrix on and off since 2014.
     XMPP didn't work well back then, while Matrix just worked.
     And for the last ~10 years or so, the tables turned.

     @lanodan @mikoto Certainly did have less problems switching devices on matrix tbh. Just log in, verify new device or use a recovery password and its done.
     
     Stuff does get better with time.
