     I think the name is a joke “Autism speaks” - except it’s mostly NTs (or Austists in denial) speaking. And they are the nes with a history of not listening.

     @hosford42 They still are meant for neurotypical parents, by neurotypical parents. Even if they have left their scandals behind, I still can't say they have the best interests of the community in mind. I truly hope they can improve, but I'm not inclined to believe it's legitimate due to their past, especially when they have already established themselves as the "premier" autism nonprofit in the mind of many. (They are clearly great with PR.)
