@kenwhite.bsky.social I once watched as the LAPD shot and killed a naked man standing on his front lawn. Yes, the guy had a knife but the officers were all nearly 50 feet away - totally out of danger. But they shot him anyway and left him dying, flipping and flopping on the ground, with no assistance or help from the cops, while they brought an ambulance from downtown Los Angeles at rush hour, although UCLA medical center was a few blocks away. He died in the 30+ minutes before the ambulance arrived.

It didn't even make the news.

It was murder by cop.
