@farah the only S Asian food I find moderately spicy is Andhra food and stuff from NE India where they put bhut jolokia. But I do have an above average spice tolerance, even in SEA

From a website, instructions for making less spicy tteokbokki: “use less gochujang, start with 1-2 Tablespoons and add more to taste”
