I think one of the most frustrating things in computers is the first signs my machine is running out of ram or CPU capacity means it's ususlly too late to close things and prevent a lock up.

That gives me an idea for a feature... but I don't know how to code.
A reserved amount of ram... when that reserve is what's left a warning pops. It'll release that reserve at that point giving you enough to save and close something.Not necessary with machines with big banks of ram, but on older or lower spec machines, this could be a life saver.

@hellomiakoda I think KDE does this now. Doesn't do the save part but saves your machine from crashing.
