     @dassauerkraut thankfully, I think the work to open one of those up safely is hard enough that those that have a problem safely disposing of materials won't be doing it.
     
     But hopefully an accepted new design, especially small in size will help get thorium reactors quicker as it will require less capital investment.

     @sickburnbro Only issue I see being guys buy spent fuel in their back yards like they do used motor oil. Otherwise a very awesome concept.

     @sickburnbro @dassauerkraut This echos the soviet RTG (radioisotope thermoelectric generator) program to my eyes... and like the RTG program, once things collapse, people will absolutely find a way to crack those open to harvest the metal to be able to buy what little food remains,..,
