@feld @cascheranno @chris The polarization of the Heads Up Display is not really the fault of Hyundai's designers, it's due to the way that reflections can become polarized - and a heads up display is essentially a projection that is reflected off of the inside of the windshield.
The only other car I've driven with a HUD was a BMW 5 and I was rather more focused on the fact that it was so vastly heavier and sluggish than my prior BMW.
