   @Snowshadow @ZenHeathen Nobody will be able to say for certain until it's well on its way down, due to a myriad of considerations, including solar activity, wind drift, and whether or not its heat shield has deteriorated.

   Also, Donald Trump's decimation of our scientific infrastructure.

   What irritates me is that nobody thought to use this thing as another opportunity to test planetary defenses from asteroids and other crap heading our way. It shouldn't be impacting anywhere, but a half-ton is heading our way.

   Also, Donald Trump would need to be placated, because nothing, absolutely nothing, will go forward until he gets an answer to the question, "What's in it for me?"

   I apologize for the tangent. I probably shouldn't be listening to Marcy Wheeler right now, lol.
