     @earthling https://github.com/zekekin/stealth-ux this was the only way I ever found to make xfce look good. It was still really janky for me. Bluetooth never worked right on xubuntu for some reason

     @earthling I also had a ton of issues with external and multi monitor. All of that completely went away with gnome. Idk if you haven't given it a chance recently you might be surprised. It's improved a lot in the last few years.

     @RustyCrab @earthling i started with gnome when it was @ 3.36. It was good then but it improved massively with each release. In my experience too, extensions just work and are more stable that vanilla plasma (obligatory shitting on kde).

     @adiz @RustyCrab @earthling my only grievances with gnome currently come in the form of the ui being too big (but very comfortable to use, definitely) and there not being alternatives to stuff like KDE's Kate (I really liked using it when I used KDE) and Kdenlive (Pitivi exists, and its just good for basic stuff)
