   I'm watching a video about what the tariffs are doing to computer components. Lots of them just won't be purchasable here anymore. Non-viable.
   ...I don't think the next generation of video games can even happen here with the tariffs. PlayStation 6 will definitely be delayed. This will be an extended gen for sure.
   Lots of things won't be here.

     @hazelnot I do have a PS5. Despite being unemployed at the time, I got mine on launch day (well, as close to it as possible). Something told me it'd be the last console launch I could fully enjoy and be excited about. AND, I was worried what happened to PS3 might happen to PS5 (downgrades in later revisions), and indeed I was right. 2nd revision fat and the slim have less mass in their cooling

     @hellomiakoda to me the current console generation doesn't even feel real

     I've never seen any of these consoles in real life and it's wild to see someone talk about the next generation when these feel like not only have barely come out (nobody can afford them and I've never seen them 🤷♀️) and there's been basically no visual improvement in games in over a decade, which isn't a bad thing in a vacuum but it's bad because system requirements keep increasing for no reason other than pure corporate greed at this point

     @hazelnot You're right that graphics haven't made any leaps lately. Better, yes, but not hugely so. PS5's awesomeness is the haptics and audio.

     @hellomiakoda fair I guess, still not worth spending 600€ on + 70+€ per game for me though 😅
