@Racist_Columbo @Gundog listening to corporate rock radio you'd think that not only did they stop releasing rock songs after 1994, but also that there were maybe 50 or so rock songs ever recorded.
HEEEYY WE GOT MORE AC/DC COMING UP AFTER THE BREAK, THEN SOME GUNS AND ROSES, THEN THE BAND THAT STARTED THE 90S GRUNGE REVOLUTI-

Have you noticed that radio stations are quietly dropping the 90s lineup of music? My local station has stopped playing nirvana and ac/dc's later songs. They never play anything released later that 1989.

@Racist_Columbo @Gundog a lot of rock stations just play 40 year old songs over and over again til they're replaced with vibrant mudblood nig nog jamz. Another reason BurgerLand sucks

@DW2 @Gundog They phased out pretty much all of the songs from the 70s too, except for Uber popular stuff like anything Led Zeppelin or Black Betty. Songs I used to hear all the time, but were quietly removed from all my local stations.

@rher @Gundog @Racist_Columbo I've noticed that too. And even then its the same 80s songs over and over again.
I mean, if you're gonna play only 80s rock, play bands that haven't gotten radio play in decades (WASP, Motorhead, Dio etc.)

@rher @DW2 @Gundog That sounds nice. I still get Nirvana on mine, and a few songs from Metallica's Black. If I'm incredibly lucky, I get Iron Maiden's Run to the Hills, which is about murdering redskins lol

@DW2 @rher @Gundog 96Rock in Atlanta used play stuff like that here and there. I still remember the day they were changed to a top40 station and it was a shock to even thr DJs when they announced they were all out of a job within a few hours. They started playing all the favorites like that. Then at 10pm sharp on Nov17, 2016 it cut over and was gone forever... I haven't listened to the radio since. Swithed to streaming and my phone.
