   I see a lot of people talking about de-federating with Fosstodon but not much in the way of why besides "one of the moderators moderated alt-right subs on reddit".

   Is there more to the story or is this basically it?

     @Conan_Kudo @egeexyz De-federation often times doesn't get reverted so the instance is basically dead to a lot of others
