   Some people who are into ballet are miffed that the Étoile show isn’t focused on actual ballet performances.

   That would be a hard sell for the streamers, I think.

   The show is a workplace dramedy that happens to be set in 2 ballet companies.

   A much better choice to pull in a bigger audience. And at the same time, introduce them to some ballet and the intense work that goes on in rehearsals.

   I’ve never watched or been to a ballet. I loved the show. Highly recommended.

     @ianRobinson I'm enjoying it part way through and agree with your comments on the mix of workplace and ballet. I wish the writing and direction weren't so uneven. Wonderful scenes give me hope for a strong finish, but there are half-hearted moments that leave me frustrated.
