     @sickburnbro My brother is an engineer at GM. We were just talking yesterday, he wants to get a new job because he knows what they are doing to modern cars. You can tell it disgusts him to do his job. The higher ups are delusional. They're putting more money into EVs even though nobody wants them. Ford lost a billion dollars on them. A simple work truck would crush the market but fuck you working man.

     If you look what GM Financial /GMAC and all those are it becomes clear.

     @kevets @sickburnbro I like that they're doing away with package garbage that people don't need, potentially opening the market that consumers have asked for since I've been driving. No person who drives a car has EVER said "remove the buttons and give me only a touchscreen and force me to pay for it!" yet that's what we were given. This could radically change things by making car accessories modular.

     @BowsacNoodle @kevets right. that's why I said "it's a start".
     
     If they can make options like this, they could also do "electric/gas" option- but due to current EPA BS, I think no-one wants to make a new gas engine.
