@SuperDicq Wouldn't the WRX be the best bet, as the 3rd motor should last the 4345.2288 km fine? -

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com Depends on how long ago the motor was last fixed. These things eat head gaskets for breakfast.

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com I personally think the Nissan Leaf is the safest option because they are reliable cars and its going to be the most likely candidate of actually making it to the end.
It's just, going to be really annoying having to charge it every 65 kilometers -

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com Also I think the neglected RX8 will make it as well. It will just burn a lot of oil on the way.

@SuperDicq Petrol with some oil in it works somewhat okay as oil if you're happy with a one-way trip. -

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com I mean yeah you just have to finish the roadtrip, you don't have to pass an emissions test.

@SuperDicq I guess I was a bit ambiguous.
As engines seem to burn oil at the rate of around 1mL/km, it appears that if you go a long time between oil changes, some of the oil seems to start getting replaced with petrol, which at least offers some lubrication (but not as good as oil).
Thus about 4000km in, if you started off with 5L of oil or whatever, your lubrication would consist of mostly petrol with some oil I guess.
