   Question: given that the DOJ filed this today, at what point must John Roberts call a press conference to say,

   "Let me be clear and unambiguous: On behalf of the Supreme Court, we are requiring the Trump administration to bring Abrego Garcia back to the United States today. Like right fucking now.

   Even a hint of delay or a whisper of trying an end-run around this will result in jail time for the following people..."

   At some point these humiliation rituals have to get under his skin, no?

     I get that guys like Graham, Rubio, and Cruz probably have humiliation fetishes. And I'm certain that Alito and Thomas love that the DOJ is being utterly contemptuous of the Court -- their allegiance is to their own personal power, not the court's. Barrett? Who knows. Maybe she enjoys the handmaiden role, and I have no take on Kavanaugh

     But Roberts? Even if he doesn't mind seeing the remaining tatters of his legacy go up in flames, surely he's still capable of embarrassment, no?

     @kims The government's response is the sort of too-cute-by-half thing you'd expect from a 14 year old (who's about to find out that they aren't being as cute as they thought).
