     @whoopsie Mostly because one of the americans major talking points in the past election cycle was the expensive price of eggs in the US. Especially since the US now tariffs canadian egg exports making it difficult for canada to lower the cost of eggs in the US substantially (though at 10% that's only like 2.9cents/egg...still cheaper than superstore regular price here in canada)
