   @benroyce the account has been suspended now. We get a lot politically motivated reports, so we are careful with decision making, in this instance obviously too careful, seeing all the unsolicited spam and harassment the account has sent out. We wish not to get involved in geopolitical tensions and try to remain neutral as a service provider, while it is hard at times, as long as it doesn't break server rules or the law.

     the pattern is to spam burst the same kremlin lies to a number of threads mentioning the ukraine war, then the messages fade away

     not sure how long the latest burst will stay up

     i've reported the account 3x via normal means over the course of the previous bursts without success so i am escalating to fediblock

     @SolSoCoG i see you have hidden the account on your instance but perhaps the behavior pattern rises to the level of a suspend?
