     @TheOtherDibbler @YiboSemiDaily the boxer and the monkey King are wax figures

     Yibo's character's family runs a restaurant. One of his relatives created a lot of wax figures for a museum of sorts, which went out of business. So his wax figures now decorate the restaurant.

     (I love Yibo's fictional family in this movie, they're adorable)

     @lookitmychicken @YiboSemiDaily Mostly I'd like some kind of context, because they're sitting down for a meal in a very normal way, but there's a fully-kitted-out boxer, and a mythological monkey dude, and I can't tell much about the figure really close in the foreground, but they look interestingly costumed. So yes, some sort of explanation would be welcome please.

     @TheOtherDibbler @YiboSemiDaily I enjoyed it very much. It's not high art, but it's better than Born to Fly.

     (I enjoyed Born to Fly too, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to someone who isn't already a Yibo enjoyer.)

     @lookitmychicken @YiboSemiDaily Aha. That makes much more sense than the things I was coming up with. 😆

     I really need to get around to watching that movie. My "I really must watch this" list and my "I really must read this" list are both always increasing, much faster than I can keep up with them.

     @lookitmychicken @YiboSemiDaily I don't require High Art as long as something is enjoyable, so that sounds like a good enough reason to watch it.

     (I also haven't watched Born to Fly yet either 😅 )
