Finally watching Wrestlemania Saturday, and I just don't get people paying thousands upon thousands to get close to the performers and then watching the event through their phone screens.
Why do people do this?

@FlashMobOfOne There's something energizing about being in a crowd with a lot of fans. I went to a giant concert for a band I did not care about with my friend's wife since he couldn't attend, and I kind of understood it?
It felt weirdly powerful for a good 15 to 20 minutes before that dulled and went away. I imagine if you cared about the product it would last longer.
Cheaper and better to watch at home and get inebriated.
@PatrickoftheG Yeah, I traveled to Louisville to see an OVW event a year ago, and while it was fun, the people there were jerks, and you don't get the commentary, and I found I definitely prefer watching at home more.
With WWE events, they're so chock-full of ads, I always watch day 2 now so I can skip them.
It would be nice if people could live in the moment though.
@PatrickoftheG Yeah, it was weird.
In the end, I thought it was worth it to do it once, but once was enough.
@FlashMobOfOne I don't understand how it would even be worth it without the commentary that goes along. That's almost as much of the show as the actual performance.
To each their own I guess.
