     Makes far more sense when you realize the traditions are based on older Pagan things, it was a celebration of the spring equinox so the coming of new life and such.

     @Witch_Hunter_Siegfried @Shadowbroker2135 the first word that was used to describe the rising of Christ wasn't an English word, it was and still is called Pascha, there's no similarity whatsoever with the demonic event of ancient Europe.
     
     Now it must be said that people who don't like reading fall into these kinds of stuff easily, they only care about being a contrarian with no real belief whatsoever. When the kings of pagan Europe was presented with the story of the crucifixion of Christs, they wept and said "If I were there with my bands of men He wouldn't have suffered" with unseen enthusiasm. Unlike larpagans of today who rewrite history as they like.

     @Shadowbroker2135 The egg hunt is symbolic of searching for Christ after He was found missing from the tomb. The egg represents new life.
