That'd be using a proxy system unless Google runs that system.

although gmail can still do sign in with generated app passwords, if the account has 2fa enabled, for imap/smtp

It's in Python so it's kinda wasteful — even without the GUI (I run it on a headless system), but it's the first one that I found and it got the job done. At least fetchmail can retrieve the messages fine. msmtp fails on my end, but I think it's something trivial to fix — never cared enough to look into it, in theory SMTP should work too.In conversation permalink Attachments
