     but you can't force people to care

     they'll just draw dicks on their ballot

     the country dies, because people just don't fucking care enough to do one simple thing

     @benroyce @tsyum maybe American culture is so very different, but only a tiny % of ballots are rendered inadmissable in Australian elections. On balance I do favour compulsory voting - it means even the apathetic and disengaged get their vote included.

     @benroyce yeah I saw this earlier today. Can the people impeach their senator? This guy is beyond toast. I guess time will tell if Iowans stand up for America, but this is a good sign.
