   i think if you've been colonized by a country you get to make their food and call yourself (country) food

     also most weebs and western foodies don't understand the intersectionality of immigrant lives. it's not your job to police people's identities.

     you can't just base it on language you hear. lots of people who speak one language you can identify also speak 5 others. korean-chinese, japanese-chinese, japanese-korean people exist.

     @vruz japanese are the best of all east asians

     only weebs get to have special relationships with japanese culture

     everyone else is just a pretender, etc

     I'm trying to guess which many of the various styles of racism and xenophobia are encoded and multiplexed there, it's quite a lot.
