They are in France, so under GDPR, Open Source, non-profit, they don't sell your data, don't take a cut but rely on donations instead and can do direct debit via SEPA/IBAN, so IMHO a Very Much Good Enough solution :) My yearly donations to #Forgejo and #Makertube are there now. (yes, they also support Stripe and Paypal for payments, but I prefer SEPA/IBAN to keep everything here ;)
