     @kingrat The last time I was in Bird & Beckett books in Glen Park I asked the owner Eric if he carried Bernie's autobiography and he answered "No" in a way that led me to believe it was a deliberate choice not to carry it. Unfortunately as an Eltonologist I will have to read it at some point.

     @mattmangels When I was a bookstore employee, we got so much word of mouth about authors that I frequently had some foreknowledge of these sorts of things.
