   Discord is arguably worse for clearnet than even abysmal shit like Reddit. At least on Reddit you get a grace period to archive threads and you don't need to login to read stuff.

     As far as I know, Reddit does not require you to use JavaScript at all to browse it. On the other side, Discord is unusable without JavaScript and demands you to execute proprietary software.
