   If Trump wanted to primarily go after China with huge tariffs in a way that'd get the market to accept it, it'd be pretty clever to bury the China tariff among a massive collection of retardedly harsh tariffs for the whole world, then make the market breathe a huge sigh of relief when you pull all of them but China's a few days later. I'm far too skeptical of the le 4-D chess meme to actual believe that was the plan all along though.

     There's a lot of things Trump has done that were likely the product of boomer retardation, but it's funny that the bankruptcies are always the go-to citation to make that argument among his critics when most are actually examples of him competently playing the game.

     @Hoss@shitpost.cloud people talk all day about how Trump "conman" and went backrupt multiple times but he was exploiting a system that allowed him to stay rich, now he is doing that same thing for the entire US and hopefully he doesn't fuck up.
