As an individual I will carry on recycling, reduce greatly buying new. I will vote for degrowth but I also don't have much hope. I'm 76 in June, my husband is 80 next month. I've know about climate since I was in my teens. I don't have a car or own property. I have one grown child and feel very sorry about his future.

Behavioural experts differ in that opinion
>DANIEL KAHNEMAN is not hopeful. “I am very sorry,” he told me, “but I am deeply pessimistic. I really see no path to success on climate change.”
>Kahneman’s views are widely shared by cognitive psychologists. As Daniel Gilbert of Harvard University says: “A psychologist could barely dream up a better scenario for paralysis.”

"#Smoking once symbolized status. Then science and health campaigns changed minds. UN experts say the same deep shift in thinking is key to solving the #climate crisis."
