@fiore plato is faster and arguably better looking than the default. Koreader has some really nice 'power user' features (cross-device synchroization of reading progress, wireless connection to calibre) but is ugly and hard to use. I think for 99% of users there's no real reason to use anything but the original software. -

@lain ive been thinking abt jailbreaking my kobo reader but idk why i would do that , id still use it the same way i think

@fiore @lain its not much of a jailbreak. you just put a couple files on the SD card and everything works.
i use koreader everywhere nowadays -
