So here's an interesting one.
Carrotcypher is a mod for fosstodon.org
He's also a mod of /r/Mastodon, /r/privacy, and like 50 other subreddits.
He's also an asshole who's fine with ICE deporting Mahmoud Khali for his political speech.

It's very silly.
I'm not sure why @fosstodon (or /r/mastodon) would pick such an obvious troll as a mod, and then keep him even when he's basically inactive (less than one post a week, on average).

But there ya go.
Keep an eye out for Fosstodon, and if you're bored have a scroll through some of Carrotcypher's reddit comments.
As an aside: Only two TBS instances block Fosstodon.org.
Four TBS instances block the funny horse-wearing-short-pants instance.
Sure wonder what the difference is! 🙃
Oh my god, this is a real Fosstodon rule.

/r/Privacy has deleted links to this article at least four times, and no existing link to this article is currently up.
Carrotcypher is a mod on /r/Privacy, and is pretty clearly responsible for at least one of the unexplained takedowns.
And then this is my personal favourite so far.

Part of what's so great about this one is that on the left there's his bad take with -27 points.
On the right, you see him on the list of subreddit mods.
Here's the same Fosstodon mod defending schools outing queer children to their abusive parents.
It's got some big phrenologist energy, describing being trans as a "mental health" issue.
From the linked article: "Only about one in three LGBTQ+ youth live in LGBTQ-affirming homes, according to a 2021 survey conduced by the Trevor Project."

Some Reddit posts that Carrotcypher has made in his capacity as a Fosstodon mod.
Nothing especially horrifying, but... yikes.
(Although I do agree that Vanta is pretty extreme 🤟🛹.)
LMAO, @fosstodon users are reporting people for interacting with this thread.
@fedilore@mastodon.social The last rule says something like "Do not tone police" while all the previous rules are about tone policing.
