For society to agree that teachers keeping secrets about students personalities and mental health from parents is a good move, you must also address the negative that comes from that and make sure the benefits outweigh it.

Here's the same Fosstodon mod defending schools outing queer children to their abusive parents.
It's got some big phrenologist energy, describing being trans as a "mental health" issue.
From the linked article: "Only about one in three LGBTQ+ youth live in LGBTQ-affirming homes, according to a 2021 survey conduced by the Trevor Project."
