     @dalias That seems lukewarm at best. I think you could replace “C“ and “Rust” with any programming language and it would still be true.

     @lritter Banning the unsafe keyword does not make your code safe. It might make it memory-safe, but it doesn't mean it does what you expect it to do, that it honors access controls, etc. It only gives you the *easiest* part of security for free.
