     @nocontexttrek @rasterweb Last episode of TAS that I watched had a character who had "used his vast personal fortune" to do great good. I kept yelling at the TV “fortuine? There's no money!”

     @fozztexx @rasterweb @nocontexttrek I'm pretty sure money is abolished between TOS and TNG

     most people seem to care about money in TOS but say it's gone in TNG, but like Vash exists and feels like one of the Ols School humans who still wishes money was real, so it's not centuries gone
