I think I want to start over making a Pleroma frontend from what I learned with CUM, but taking more care keeping it maintainable. It's a giant hairball.

@lain I learned so much it's incredible, and I ended up with a real working frontend which is amazing.

@eriner I've got a different project I made that is heavily AI written but it's much better because I started out structuring it myself and then having AI fill in implementation.

@sun easy if you're the one writing it. Much more of a challenge if using Artificial Indians.

@sun i'm telling people that it's a 10x productivity boost for a good programmer, but people don't listen. guess it's like taking acid, you just have to try it yourself.

@sun copilot-esq implementation of stubs is the best way to use Artificial Indians. Have it create things "from scratch" and you will always get Frankenstein's monster.

@eriner yeah basically I think I created too big of a mess to fix by hand.

@sun @eriner not yeah at all, you can create maintainable systems with ai, you just can't do it without constant checks of small scale functionality (i.e. tests). once the context becomes larger, this restriction will also vanish.

@lain @sun ... or you stub out what you want it to do, tell it to "implement function XYZ taking into consideration ABC..." and never worry about any of that shit because it'll just work

@lain @sun when I caught raccoons, I gutted them and saved the penis bones in case I need to use them as shamanistic charms to ward off bad takes online.
